Meanwhile..

..back in the real world, there has been some more inter-blogging copping-off.

Between the lovely Lady Doctor of Blogging
Patroclus and the legendary Mr Blue Cat.

It's all happening now, eh?

(PS: please see comments if you'd like to help us write a new blogging article for Mary Dejevsky.)

  • i know!

i feel there might be a mary dejevsky article in it all

**imagines headline: "female bloggers are only in it to cop off with male bloggers"**

  • who's left for me? Snif...

  • "The good thing about the blogosphere is that you can't see the height difference," said diminutive yet undeniably extant female blogger Patroclus. "On the internet, no one knows you're five foot nothing."

By Blogger patroclus, at 11:06 AM

  • "whilst still-single bloggers GSE and the tragic Spinsterella wonder how come they can't even pull in cyberspace.."

By Blogger Spinsterella, at 11:24 AM

  • I'm going to have to take over the Mozzer role here aren't I? What with The Spinster legging off to Thailand for a bit of extracurricular activity with La-di-da Gunner Timbo and Patroclus getting jiggy (as I believe the current parlance has it) with Tom Cat Diary (or whatever...)

So, Batchelor Bob it is! Bring me your huddled masses! And all the sad sacks and shrinking violets out there can rest assured that at least I won't be deserting them to go and squirt these kegs between my legs over all and sundry like old uncle Mozzer. Well, almost quoting Ronnie Barker in Porridge, what, with this rotting cock - "who'd 'ave me?"

  • Did P and JBC actually meet on the internets or did they know each other through other means?

  • Spinny - just when are you going to tell us about your festivals and who was and wasn;t any good. And what about Corny-bury? I wan to know what you thought.

PS Loved your comment stream on children. Just wanted to say (but couldn't nick Surly's last place) that to try being the lowest of the low species in the known universe, become a single dad with a single son.

  • Beep - I am planning a festival round-up at the end of the season. That'll be mid-sept (if I make it that far..only half-way through and I'm knackered already)

  • More to the point, young lady, I asked for a double espresso 20 minutes ago!

(Must allow the Swipe to bump around in his peculiar fantasy bubble.)

  • Hey, what happened to Robert?

By Blogger Robert A. Swipe, at 3:25 PM

  • Sacked.

Dooced, apparently. We'll probably never know the true story...

By Blogger Spinsterella, at 11:32 PM

  • I don't know if you are only interested in bloggers on your side of the pond, I don't even know if this org is only for bloggers on this side, but you might be interested in Blogher. I only got a glimpse of it, but will check it out later. So I can't even tell you anything about it...except it's all female bloggers. Oh, and they had a convention. Hope that helps. :)

  • Loads of lady bloggers in one place? Well, if you read the Independent, they'd either be: obsessed with gynaecology and child care (Dejevsky); sad failures (Street-Porter - this from the woman who has been intimate with Normski ffs); or terrorists (the beyond-parody Alibhai-Brown).

WV: buhpfwu: the noise my dog makes 20 minutes after he's eaten some broccoli.

  • This is a non sequiteur, `cos I am doing a belated de-lurk, not commenting on blog romances. I lurk all the time because word verification does not work on my home computer. Like your blog, though.

By Blogger Timorous Beastie, at 4:38 AM

  • I think that lurkers are quite cool actually Spinny. I like the google searchers as well. They make me laugh. Someone came to my site looking for a 'chuff brush' which I thought was ace. As for finding love on the Internet...good luck to Patroclus. I think that is great. Have you seen Bobster?
